Many games are narrative dependent. When games have voice overs that get cut off due to a new scene being loaded or an interaction with another AI it can cause disruption in the story line leaving holes or questions unanswered. Continuing a voice over during level changes continues the story but effectively keeps the player engaged where there is usually a dead spot.

In Witcher 3 there are various occasions where the player is following an AI who is explaining some piece of advice or addition to the story or quest. On few occasions when the AI gets cut off when the player accidentily causing an interaction with a non-important AI.
