Mobile games use ads to generate revenue for their games. Some developers put their ads in places in their mobile games where it becomes disrupting to, for example, in Geometry Dash, the ads in the mobile app occur about every third loss of a game. This can get jarring for the player because Geometry Dash involves the players losing the game a lot. It becomes frustrating when the player accidently hits the ad a repeated number of times. Badly placed ads in mobile games can cause the player anger and eventually they will stop playing the game altogether.
